Maximize profits. Trade that arbitrage. Get that money.
It doesn't matter how you say it a majority of us humans do what we do in life for one thing:
Money.
And us humans have no problem admitting that.
Almost like a badge of honor.
I got that job; I'm going to get that real money now.
O shit just got 5 grand for a show. Time to get that money.
O just secured that 100 million dollar investment. Time to get that money now.
Money, money, money.
And for most of our lives growing up that's what the generations said to do.
Go to college, get a degree, get a job.
Or go get a job. Work for someone else now.
Get money to pay for life.
You need money to live.
And this has gone on for so long.
From the Industrial Revolution to the baby boomers, the generations have thought and programmed it into everyone they come in contact with that getting money is the end goal.
It has to be.
How else are you going to support a family and buy things for life?
For whatever reason some of us humans believe this instead of:
Do what you love and money will follow.
We get money and hope that love will follow.
But that's not how life works.
Life isn't about getting money.
Sure money is an important tool to use and can be used to "keep score" but it clearly is not what defines a successful and happy life.
There are thousands, if not millions of case studies as evidence to prove this.
But for whatever reason when we ask why did we do something the common response is:
To get money.
But if money is your end goal, your love, your God you could say, then whose your Devil?
If you are willing to sacrifice some if not everything about life for money, then who is your Devil, the counter/opposite to money?
Because usually this moral balance of good versus evil is what helps keep some humans on the right path.
We know what is right because of a moral compass.
And we know what is wrong because of a moral compass.
Gut instincts are hard to hide.
So if good counters the evil in some humans whose end goal in life is not money or the accumulation of wealth, then what counters the money and greed?
If money is your God, whose your Devil?
Thank you as always fro your time and attention.
