"Another has done me wrong? Let him see to it. He has his own tendencies, and his own affairs.
What I have now is what the common nature has willed, and what I endeavor to accomplish now is what my nature wills."
Marcus Aurelius in "Meditations"
Basically what our friend Marcus Aurelius is saying here is that whenever someone has done something wrong towards you, don't let it affect you and let that man be himself and basically don't confront him about it.
Now I don't fully agree about not confronting the person, it depends on how important the person is to you, it could be a sibling or spouse.
But the confrontation should be calm at first and if that's not helping, either insist by showing your anger(if it's worth it) or leave it there and cut connection with the person.
Let me know if you have any opinions about this.
