I started de-cluttering a couple of months ago. Sad to say it was short-lived. I still have the bag of rubbish sitting outside my room waiting for me to continue.
I did manage to down size my wardrobe but not to what I wanted, and got rid of a lot of rubbish! I also managed to tidy my kitchen cabinet which was awesome. But it stopped there.
A few weeks ago my sister #4 started de-cluttering and shared how difficult it was with us. She was teary-eyed as she found it very difficult to let go of some things. But we encouraged her and cheered her on.
Since then I’ve been wanting to start de-cluttering again but the first step is always the most difficult. As I said in one of my previous posts we need a companion to help us along.
Then came @SteemitMamas! I found them through . She’d resteemed the 2nd day of their de-cluttering challenge. You can find day #1 here
I actually was pretty excited. I wanted to join in the challenge but first I had to make sure it was something I could commit to. So I waited a few more days to see what the challenge called for. Thank God it is doable! So I jumped in today and am up-to-date.
Before I did the challenge I felt very motivated so I did some decluttering and tidying of my own. It felt so good! 😊
