There is an inner being in me that I do thank God for making it get strong and not get weak. That is maybe that I am still up and running right now and not giving up. I just do not like not to fight and give things a "Go!" if I see that there is a hope that I can see that will make things improve and change for the better.
I am religious and tomorrow I will refresh again my inner being the rekindling it needs so that I can hold up any challenges that comes ahead although most of my life it has been a challenge left and right which now left me with lots of battle scars and it is even showing with my current physical appearance.
So it will be another Thanksgiving viewing for me and my mother and I am happy that the church worker had rotated who will get destined to who, so now we got this new church worker and the last time he went to our home we just agreed upon that I will get the Thanksgiving viewing session a few hours from now.
I hope that the church worker arrives early so that we can finish off early. I will see if how I would hold on with these improvement on my pain although I could not possibly walk unlike before. But the factor is that sometimes my back aches when I am seated for a long time and that remains to be seen and experienced later this morning.
What is "Thanksgiving Viewing?" It is a session where a member who cannot go physically anymore to the church locality is given an assigned "worker" (equivalent of a Church Pastor) and brings the copy of the Thanksgiving offering celebration recording so that the disabled member for example could watch it as if they are attending the live fellowship.
Atthe thanksgiving itself there is an opening song then the members that are scheduled to offer thanks would come to the stage to offer songs of praise. Then after that the singing of hymns, the opening prayer, the collection of voluntary donations.
Then after that the discussion for the topic of the week served by the vice presiding minister, he does the first half. After that a short recess or break time while the consultation portion is being done where guests and some members alike would ask Bro Eli Soriano some resolution about their problems regarding almost anything from Bible issues that hey do not understand, to domestic problems, legal issues, or even health. Bro Eli would solve it and find solutions based on what the bible teaches.
I like to watch the consultation portion because it is somewhat entertaining at times and at the same time I could pick bits and pieces of information regarding the wisdom and justice coming from the bible. After that is the discussion of the conclusion of the topic of the week followed by the closing prayer. It is a long church activity that is held about half a day during Saturday night and is simulcasted to all regions in the world where localities have a link so that they can participate in real time to the mcgi.org Thanksgiving celebration to God.
