I was able to sleep this evening which I thought I would never do because of the Caffeine pill and energy drink that I had while hooked up for my dialysis. Well it means that it got washed away or most of it by the dialysis process.
It also means that my dialyzer which is a type that is a "Highflux" filter which has bigger holes for bigger molecule toxins like uric acid and such could pass through and get filtered out easily than the regular type which I was using many years before I learned the value of using the highflux type.
Using the highflux dialyzer made a difference in my well-being because of the said reasons. I no longer get that urea breath that made my life miserable for years. It was also the factor that I just kept quiet and refraining from talking much so that I could not smell the toxic fumes coming from my breath, it was terrible.
So after I have experienced using the highflux dialyzer I never reverted back to the regular type but I was having a blood pressure issue with it and even with using the reguar type before and the former nurse was blaming it for the cause of my BP issue so she told it to my Nephrologist and my Nephrologist ordered her for me to revert back to the regular dialyzer and make me go for dialysis three times per week.
Of course I didn't agreed with it and insisted to use the highflux dialyzer type. Well my doctor just told me via my former dialysis nurse to sign a waiver so I could continue in using it. Now I was using it ever since and I am good with the results because for one thing it makes me get hungry and able to enjoy my meal while I am hooked up and able to eat more as well which is also one reason that I am using a such efficient blood cleaning part of dialysis.
Now that I know that it just cleans out my caffeine pill and energy drinks that well. I really must take another caffeine pill at the second half of my dialysis treatment session so that my blood pressure would not get so low that it causes me some degree of discomfort while trying to endure to finish my dialysis session that seems an eternity to wait for when it happens.
