I remember during the times that I have no health insurance, we just pay the dialysis centers out of pocket and it resulted in me just getting dialysis every five days while the suggested frequency should be thrice per week. It was one of the worse years of my life.
I even had to be dialyzed once per week and it was so terrible that I couldn't walk anymore before my session but I survived it until I got free sessions when my church opened a dialysis service that at first just takes half of the amount that should be paid until they do not take any payment anymore.
Then my government gave a free health insurance which at first I didn't have any clue how to use it until it expired. Then years later I just paid the whole premium amount which is not that expensive and I learned that after nine months I can already use it and then after that I was able to get ninety dialysis sessions per year with only the hospital bill that I am paying which should be not the case because the insurance is covering it already.
My dialysis center is also charging more if a patient is using the health insurance so they are really earning more in that regard.
Anyway I am just disappointed that my insurance had not given us more dialysis allocations this year which I thought they would because of the recently passed law of excise tax for liquor and tobacco for additional funding to my health insurance. But maybe next year I would enjoy additional sessions that could give me thrice a week sessions so I am praying that it should be so even though it will be hard in my pocket because of the additional charges that my dialysis center is charging the patients.
