So after the last three years I had been been patiently waiting to.. Well ask The question.I had gotten a few hints here and there after about 2 years but I didnt think I could do it I was nervous even thinking about it. So around August 26th 2017 I had finally taken the 4500 dollars I had saved up for a ring and decided it was time. I went to 9 different jewelery stores and finally I had found the perfect ring.
It ended up costing around 4350.00 but it was perfect. On the 27th around 9:15 pm she had walked in i had the kids to bed and she was upset because work had given her a hard time, she looked over because it was hard for me to keep a straight face so I decided since her day was so rough pop the question.. The clock then said 11:pm as she was getting ready to go to sleep i walked in and said we need to talk and i acted a little bothered and she then asked me whats wrong, " Will you marry me" was the first thing that popped out of my mouth I didnt attempt to keep myself composed any longer and she said Yes. Ladies and Gentlemen if you feel as though youve found the one dont waste your time friends life is short.
Im getting married to an amazing friend" partner and lover on November 18th 2017. Thank you to everyone who had helped me build the courage and thanks to all of you who had read this. Lauren and I have split up, been mad at each other, cried but ultimetly gotten back together and always backed each other up no matter what.
