Beleaguered by the distortions which
Whisper greed & excess:
That shimmer is not flensed
by the sabre of avarice.
by the yoke of gluttony.
Irrespective of baser inclinations.
And the nexoid potency of soul
Gives, gives, & gives noble-lowly-humble with a
Beckoning thats brings prismatic clarity to the numbingness
Of daily life with its deadly rolling mumble and
Too often its unfeelingness
When it happens that we stumble
Yet maintain integrity supracentral
Redeeming, retracing prior to the
Essence that enshrined us, that
Defined us beyond the egoic totem,
Beyond the beehive insectoid
Geometry of bee-eyes, beyond
The cataractal animal lamps that
Rendered us spiritually blind
And hoarding in dim fear
Of the physical, the body
With its imminent demise.
If only we'd bloom that blessed aperture of
Abounding bright and look into the blinding
Truth: then we would give & give & give.
Kindness we'd bestow and glow and truly live.
