I remember the first time I saw a video of a Satin bowerbird on a BBC documentary. It was presented by the incredible David Attenborough.
These birds are awesome - the male bird will collect various items of plastic, discarded rubbish, and anything that it can find of a particular colour. It will then arrange all these bits on the floor, maintaining the nest till there's nothing out of place. The male bird then calls a female with the hope of impressing her.
