We departed by van toward the Argentine border, climbing up into the Andean highlands to the Atacama Plateau to explore the different ecological layers and rock formations that exist up here.
In these extreme high altitudes, different flora and fauna flourish. Once we reach the summit of the plateau, we'll explore a high altitude salt flat that exists above 4000 meters.
