People will judge you according to their experiences not yours and you'd feel bad without knowing that there is nothing wrong with you, just differences. They would make assumptions and also form opinion about you without having knowledge of your situation.
Many years ago a boss of mine told me how he had been putting on a single pair of shoes for 5 years. That he didn't understand why I changed mine almost every six months. And I felt bad. I thought something was wrong with my legs or me. I thought I wasn't careful enough. Many more thoughts crossed my mind. I re-examined the situation. My boss had a car. A good one. He would put on his shoes from the house, step into the car, drive to work. His shoes didn't endure much. Me, on the other hand, I trekked from home. The coal tar ate my shoes. I realized that if I also had a car and just hopped in and do same at the close of work, I'd never have to worry about my shoes getting bad.
This was it. Something I didn't know. I was feeling bad for a badly examined opinion. From that day, I felt better. I knew that nothing was wrong with me. I had a boss who just spoke without carefully weighing his opinion.
Just thought I should motivate someone out there. you never know who might need this pep talk so
