Hello, Steemers!
"Año nuevo, vida nueva" (New year, new life) says one of the most famous Christmas songs in Venezuela. And it is that every first of January is a day where in the morning one breathes hope and optimism, where the spirit and the mind fills with energy to fulfill the new goals set for the following 365 days.
Nothing more beautiful than sharing that feeling with family and friends, where abundance is the primordial desire for those closest to you. Dinners and meetings are filled with smiles, cries, noises and above all, FOOD.
In many countries it is difficult to maintain that optimism, either because of social, religious, political or economic difficulties. It is sad to think that when a significant festival is celebrated, there are many homes where a sad aura expands the misfortune of receiving a better year. And that many have the intention of receiving a better new year, but fail to have that abundance that their stomachs are begging.
Then, my friend, when you eat what you have left over the previous day, give thanks for the abundance that life has given you, for the family and friends who have taught you the value of sharing, and pray for people who can not. Reheat your leftover meals in the microwave on the first day of the new year.
