Today, I would like to post about 'trust'.
There are two basic questions to think about:
- Are you a trusting person?
Trusting people tend to believe what others tell them. Accepting at face value whatever you are told makes you vulnerable to being scammed.
There are many unscrupulous people out there who will take advantage of you to feather their own nests.
The elderly sometimes fall victim to these scammers because the elderly are too trusting, believing the young to know best. High amounts of life savings are scammed from them and they can never get the money back.
My suggestion to you is that it is wise not to trust anyone. Always check out what you are told and only believe it if you can prove it is right.
- Are you trustworthy?
The easy answer to the above question is, 'Yes, of course, I am trustworthy.' But think a moment.
If you found a roll of banknotes in a friend's front path, what would you do?
If you saw your friend's partner kissing someone else (tongues and all), would you tell on them?
There are countless situations when your trustworthiness is called into question.
I'd say, always be honest or keep quiet. Silence is sometimes the golden path.
I hope you enjoyed reading this post and you will think about trust too.
