A lot of us get so stuck in being in our own way that it's tempting to just blame everyone and everything else.
Well, there are those who DO, and those who CREATE, and those who INSPIRE, and those who successfully make millions...
For the most part there are those who watch and wish... and perhaps get started... not fully grasping that in order to be where you are and have what you have requires not only originality, but the desire and willingness to be "The Energizer Bunny on Speed" for a number (maybe many?) years before getting "there." And that there will be "false starts" and setbacks and tragic life events and other stuff.
Any one person right now can read this and decide to become "the next Jerry Banfield" but how many will? As motivators and inspirations to the world, we have very little power beyond simply lighting the way and leading by example.
My experience tells me that the key thing we put in our own way is our thoughts. Our thoughts that is it somehow "wrong" to make self-improvement about "ourselves." It is "selfish," somehow. But authentic self-care is not selfish. And until we actually accept that we are doing this for OURselves first... and not "because mom wants it" or "our spouse will like it" it's just not gonna stick.
Good for you for having that part of the equation in your early 30's! I'm now mid-50's and was much older before I started "getting it." And recognizing that each of our journeys is truly individual... there's no magic "one size fits all" formula.
Anyway, keep inspiring! Keep on keepin' on!
