It's funny that two of my favorites are portraits because he much preferred to paint wildlife and scenery. Of course they were also amazing- he gave most of them away as gifts. My mom has photos of them somewhere though, I'll have to raid her albums one of these days :)
I remember when you lost him. Meesterboom too around the same time. It's not a great club to be a part of:(
I don't dream of him sadly. But I did feel as though he visited me just after he departed his body, to say one final goodbye and let me know he was happy and peaceful. I used to dream of my sister all the time for several years on the other hand. I've always wondered if some spirits hang around while others move right along.
It was a lovely Christmas, and it's not over. We'll be celebrating late with my brother's family at mom's in a couple weeks :0)
