Wowwooo I been in a state of insomnia! My pc hard drive crashed 5 days ago. In that time I learned through a soul brother it was possible to run an OS(operating system) off of a thumb drive. In these past five days I have looked over Linux upon Linux systems and I must say having been totally ignorant of the capability present in Linux, I am now humbled and in love!
Right now I sit typing on a pc all in one with no hard drive to speak of, and yet I am online getting shit done. A thumb drive holds an OS known as Puppy Linux Tahr 6.0.6, a fascinating take on an Ubuntu release named Tahr or Trusty Tahr in 2014. This os is like a throwback to Windows 98 for me and I have been getting a kick out of learning more and playing around with horrible consequences to boot. No pun intended but damn trying to get partitions in order and understanding Bios and UEFI is head spinning. After days of being stumped and reading guides, forums and how tos I have this baby fairly well tamed. If it should kick me down again well by golly I just get back up.
Wipe the partitions reinstall and do my deed for the day. It is how I shall roll for now. Puppy Linux are built in such a way they run off of USB sticks and CDs. My USB drive is 8 gb, with this system amazingly only taking up 300 mb of space!! The rest is mine to play around with while I check out these programs available in the nifty Puppy Package Manager. A one stop shop for open source paraphernalia.

I can take this usb anywhere I go and plug into a public pc and boot up my personal station with encrypted and password protected data. Something gives me the impression Linux is a great tool for flying under the radar and that syncs in nicely with Cryptocurrencies in my perspective. What data is there is my own.
Little sleep and constant mental input/output got me beat....
