For a number of years I was able to enjoy half of my time in Cherkassy, Ukraine (90 days there, 90 days in Canada and so on). It is one of those things that I could do because there was no reason for me to be anyplace in particular. To be honest I "lived" in Ukraine and I returned to Canada. While I was there everyday was an adventure.
On this particular day Ira, Sasha and I went for a walk to the beach and made our way back when a horrendous rainstorm broke out. This is about 5 minutes before the deluge and it was the first time I had ever seen water turn black (reflecting the clouds overhead).
