I saw the movie birdbox some hours ago, when I first watched it, it reminded me of another movie I watched titled "a silent place" with a similar story line where we a sensory organ became a danger to the person.
I asked myself if life would be nice if we lived in such a situation where qe couldn't make use of our eyes or our ears became a major problem for us. Sound and sight, two powerful tools. That movie forced me to appreciate what I had the more.
I was forced to see the movie through the eyes of blind people. These same people simply wanted to see the flowers, wanted to see one another, just have another day's experience of life without becoming suicidal, I was like wow!
In a silent place, humans lived like the air, we became inaudible. So many people have been doing things which could damage their eyes or ears, they felt it wasn't that much of a big deal, what will happen when light and sound or something else become a disadvantage?
I wonder what will happen in such a scenario...
