So I am sitting at the Ikeja under bridge by Oba Akran and I am feeling really high on nostalgia as I see the activities which I am very familiar with happen.
For those who don't know, Ikeja under bridge is a very popular spot in Lagos State because it leads you to the very popular Computer Village, the Government house, Maryland, Murtala Mohammed Internation Airport, the local Airport, Nigerian Air Force cantonment, Ogba, the Guinness Factory on Oba Akran, Ikeja Gra, Agege Pens Cinema unward Ishaga, Agbado etc.
This leads you to everywhere and anywhere you think and it is why it is a beautiful spot.
The place didn't look organizer like this from the start. It has always been like a very unkempt spot until the present administration decided to do something about and and turned it to a "tourist attraction kinda spot."
I like the city of Lagos because, it holds more that the spirit of a city in it. It comes packed with perseverance, a never giving up spirit, a place for growth, a home even for the homeless and a soil to plant despitenit being a concrete jungle. If I go on, there is too much it holds and it is an amazing city coupled with the most stressful conditions.
Did some lazy snaps of the view from where I am sitting now.
I remember when I used to trek alot around this part of town to get to where I needed to be and looking now, it has changed very nicely.
