I think he is one of the best footballers of our time and he has never failed to leave us all awed at his magical display with the round leather whenever he is on the pitch.
Many have prayed and dreamt to be like him so they can command the game of football. Countless articles have been written to praise him and also dozens of awards has been awarded him for his amazing skills.
And you know what? Despite the world seeing him as an overnight success, he said it took him 17 years and 114 days to be an overnight success. Really???
There is no such thing as an overnight success or overnight celebrities as we have come to see some persons being addressed and celebrated. There is a process of movement and growth for every story and exploit.
If it comes overnight, then it isn't success but a bubble that soon goes burst and the once famed man becomes a ridicule.
There is nothing given or defined as easy that truly is easy. Living is hard, and irrespective of the fact that you see it as free, it isn't free.
Life comes at us with its own peculiar challenges and never fails to dump on us it's responsibilities which ultimately becomes burdened on us.
To be successful, you must put in work no matter the craft or trade you are engaged in. There must be some fine tuning and tightening to do when it comes to the engine room of our lives, and when you fail to hold the spanners and screwdrivers to take charge, you will get all rusty and end up in the junkyard of life.
You are the architect/mechanic of your fortunes or misfortunes
Do not envy anyone; their labour may have come from long time before you met them and it will be really unfair to compare yourself with them.
Do not seek overnight success and don't every wish to be an overnight celebrity because, it is a bubble and will go burst as soon as it starts.
Get to work and do what is right and needful. Don't start out with the needful, but with the RIGHT and then the needful should be tackled. You will never get it wrong when you take the right approach.
Bear in mind it may tarry, it may look like it will never happen, but try sticking to it and you will see the success suddenly because you have put in work.
