Hello, today I want to tell you about the village of artisans. This small settlement is called Baan Tawai and is located somewhere in the north (if one can say this about a hot country). As our guide told us, it is in the north of the country that handicraft settlements are concentrated where secrets of woodcarving, coining , paintings of fabrics and wood .Whatever is here only! From small figures to figures in natural growth! ! [] ()
Our view was represented by various figures of animals and people. Temples and various gods, especially many Buddha figures. All products are made with great skill and love. Many carved paintings and statuettes on the religious theme and nature theme.! [] ()!

Immediately at the workshop there is a shop-exhibition where you can buy a favorite thing. Thais are very fond of bargaining, for them it is a natural process and therefore one can buy some sort of beauty at a very affordable price. It is pleasant to both parties.
There are also furniture decorated with ornate carvings, benches and tables, lockers and salaries for windows and doors. By the way, all the temples of the Tay are decorated with such carved windows and doors and each with its own style.! [] ()

It is also interesting that literally moving from the store to the nearest corridor or the next room you find yourself immediately in the workshop. There the craftsmen work, slowly making another masterpiece. Thais are a peculiar people, they are in no hurry, never! And if they see us, running tourists in their eyes are perplexed! [] ()
Half a day we spent in this wonderful workshop, admiring the work of the masters. It was a pity to leave this "fairy-tale house", but what can you do, the tour came to an end and for memory we will have photos and small souvenirs reminiscent of Thailand.
