Life can be cruel enough and doesn’t leave space for further negativity. Toxic people darken the colours of your aura and suck your energy. Do we really need this in our lives? I guess not…
There are several characteristics that define a toxic person. Meanness comes first in my list. Yes, mean people do exist. They care only for themselves and not only they detest helping others but they even enjoy setting barriers to their happiness. Probably they are the insecure ones and they feel better about themselves when everybody else suffers. If karma is a thing, then let it get the job done and don’t waste a single minute for them. Actually run away.
Jealousy is another undesirable trait. You have that and I don’t. You are this and I’m not. You never want to deal with those kind of people either. If a person is not happy with your happiness then why is this person next to you? The easiest thing is to find a bunch of strangers to “play” with and they will do the same -in fact some of them may appear to be more caring. I think that jealousy is completely meaningless. Look at yourself, try to be the best that you can and what others do is none of your business.
Another category of people you should avoid is whiners. Oh my God. I cannot stand them. They complain about everything -even for the minor things-, they are never satisfied, the play the victims all the time, they blame others, they want to draw the attention with the most hideous way, enough. Whenever I am around these people, I have an itchy feeling starting from my chicks, going behind my ears and ending to my spine. Get yourself together! You spend 2/3 of your life complaining about everything! Whiners step back!
Some years ago I had a brilliant idea; to declutter toxicity from my life and I chose to have fewer people next to me that I really enjoy spending time with. And believe me, this was a hell of a good decision.
