ME: Do you Know me? I am Venezuelan.
The other person: Aahh oil, Chavez, Maduro, Corruption, Cocaine, Drug dealers, Narcosobrinos, human rights, Scarcity, devaluation, crisis, protests... yeah I know your country.
ME: Excuse me are you American? Isn´t you?, are you addicted to drugs? Are you an idiot? Do you like to eat a lot? Are you fat? ...
The other person: wait ... why? Why are you stereotyping?
ME: Because if you were cultured, you would have asked me about the best cocoa and chocolate in the world, the finest and most beautiful women in the world, the most varied flowers and biodiversity, for its spectacular landscapes of snow, plain, mountain and its beautiful beaches! ! ..... and by the most cheerful and friendly people on the planet
If you were an athlete, you would have identified me with Major League players, Luis Aparicio, Omar Vizquel, David Concepción, Miguel Cabrera, Jose Altuve, and women like Deyna Castellano or Yulimar Rojas...
And if you were an artist, you would have connected me with Edgar Ramirez, Patricia Velazquez, Marjori de Sousa or with singers like Puma, Chino, Nacho, Franco de Vita, Simon Diaz, and with salsa, joropo, and many more.
If you read a little, you would have identified me with Simon Bolivar, Miranda, Andres Bello or so many others good examples
And if you find good cooking you would have asked about the arepa, The Pabellon, the hallaca, Tequeños, the Pan de Jamon, or the empanada with malta.

I just want to show you that we are more than 30 million honest, workers who get up at 5 in the morning to work where be that we are, Venezuelans, that even if you do not know us, we will like you much more and you will even want to visit our country ... I promise you
