Get ready to see an army of boobs storming the streets of cities around the world this Saturday, August 26th, because it's time for the annual GoTopless Day Parade!
To honor Women's Equality Day, the U.S.-based organization has been campaigning for women to have the same constitutional right as men to go bare-chested in public, as well as speaking out for the desexualization of breasts with a series of parades since 2007.
The festival will be celebrated across several cities in the U.S. and the rest of the world (check the "boob map" here), but New York City – where freeing the nipple is legal since 1992 – will be the main hub for the event. The parade will start on West 58th St at 12:30 pm and culminate with a series of speeches at Bryant Park. Kasyo Perrier, who leads GoTopless in NYC, told Business Insider:
"Our goal is for equal gender topless rights to be enforced worldwide, freeing women's nipples. In New York, police will block off streets to let our GoTopless Parade pass."
