Yesterday was an interesting day in my life and that of many other Steemians who have been following @Damarth and 
It began with @Damarth who began a "One Meal a Day" initiative almost every day, he did this with the aim of making sure the poor who didn't have access to internet were fed.
So he began to massively upvote comments on such posts with the intention it would be used to feed these poor ones.
Although the net amount coming in wasn't much, we were able to feed plenty orphans yesterday during the Valentine day's celebration. These ones were not left out, they received equal love like everyone else.
I felt tears come out of eyes yesterday. There were orphans, fatherless, motherless children there yesterday. With the support of steemit, I gave them hope again.
