Every time I get to watch over baby Sam it gets easier.
Especially now he's a little older and can do things by himself.
He was dropped off at my house around 15:00 by my sister and Thomas.
They wanted to go out tonight and Bianca and I offered to watch over Sam.
We had some coffee while Sam was playing. He brought a whole box full of Big Lego and a tower with discs.
After 30 minutes his parents put him to sleep upstairs and left. We were giving instruction to wake him at 5 pm. We went upstairs and saw this. I felt almost criminal waking him.
We dressed him and I was happy to see his dad has good taste in socks. Can't wait to watch the new film btw. Hopefully next week.
It did not take him long to wake up. He's almost walking but he still needs his walker trolley to stabilize him. It won't be long though! He kept going back and forth in the living room. It was great he was basically tiring himself.
At 17:30 I sensed that he was hungry so I went to the kitchen to warm up his meal. He followed me. My sister makes all the meals herself. This was spinach with potatoes and a little bit of ground beef. He was possessed after he saw it. I can relate.
But Danoontje is his drugs. It's a little cup of thick yogurt with flavor. He goes mental the moment he sees it.
After dinner he played for another hour and then it was time for bed again. This time until the morning. (I told you it has gotten easier) I put on his pajamas and then he went into his sleeping bag. He's sleeping in our bedroom which is very cold so Bianca dug up an extra blanket for the little man. I hope to hear from him again at 7am!
