APPICS will be one of the first apps on the STEEM blockchain that will utilize an SMT (Smart media token).

The SMT is called XAP token.
I'm still on the fence whether I should invest or not.
For a couple of reasons.
SMT's are not out yet and that is kind of a big deal. (I like to invest in projects that already work).
There is a competitor called Steepshot already functioning on the Steem blockchain.
Now I think the success of APPICS will mainly ride on the fact whether they can get enough influential people to use it and how good the app is.
A lot of unknowns but that comes with early investing. Big risks with huge potential rewards/losses.
I do like the fact that they promoting it as much as they can read here.
I hope it will be a huge success for them and the steem blockchain.
