I have owned a Wirex card for a very long time but at some point it stopped working because they had some trouble with Mastercard I believe.
Now after many moons of waiting I got the message not long ago that my new Wirex Visa Debit card was waiting to be ordered.
And so I did.
It arrived yesterday but because of Bianca's party I couldn't test it but I did so this morning.
It's so easy I'm sure anyone can do it and it lowers the barrier from going to Crypto --> Fiat.
In the Wirex app on your phone you will have a Bitcoin wallet.
You can send your Bitcoin there and use the internal exchange (in app) to change it to your fiat of choice and top up the debit card.
This process takes seconds and the rates for the internal exchange or very good. (I did a quick compare).
Once the card is topped up you can go shopping.
I tried it and spend 2 dollars on something and it worked perfectly!
The card cost $1,50 a month which I think is more than fair.
