Steemfat is the name for my journey to get in shape for steemfest 2.
As promised in my blog post this morning. Here are the progress pictures for week 6.
I can really see change happening now and my body is transforming. I feel great.
Going to the gym has become part of my routine now. I go there 5 days a week.
Finding balance
It took me a while to find balance on this journey. At the start, I went a bit mental and (funnily) didn't eat enough to gain results. I think I did not eat enough carbs.
Now I feel like I'm spot on.
I realize that restricting myself too much while trying to get in shape makes me miserable. You need fun in life and I get that from good food and a nice drink.
So I still drink beer or have a nice glass of wine (and sometimes a lot more....). I eat steak or other good meat from my green egg.
I go out to a restaurant with Bianca and have a nice meal.
But I do watch what I eat and drink besides that. No soft drinks or bad snacks for instance.
It's about balance and I can live with that.
I still do all the things that make me happy and getting results in the meantime. Great!
