Today we had to take Trevor for his first checkup after we went to the vet last week.
He has been suffering from a bad ear infection here.
Last time the vet gave him an antibiotic cream and she wanted to see him a week later.
I think he sort of knew where we were going the moment my dad and I asked him to come with us.
But he got up like the star that he is and walked to the car and got in.
We drove to the vet and he fell asleep on the backseat. (it's only a 10 minutes drive).
At 12,5 years he tends to fall asleep pretty much anywhere.
Arriving he got out and the vet was already waiting for us.
Trevor is alright with the vet.
He's just not a big fan of getting on the 'elevator' table.
She checked his ears and sadly the infection was still there (but less).
His ears where also dirty.
The vet's assistant cleaned his ears outside with water and a disinfectant.
After, the antibiotic cream was applied again.
Trevor all accepted it like a boss.
It must have hurt him a little for sure.
Coming home he got a bowl of his new expensive super duper food.
Which he happily ate.
I always consider that a good sign.
Anyway, next week we have to go again.
I hope he will be fully recovered then.
