Vlog 219: Bitcoin toying with 10k again + Steem scaling update

Bitcoin is close to breaking $10k again. I wonder if it can do it.

If this is the beginning of a new uptrend I might regret my trading tactic, lol. (I have not bought above my baseline).

But for now I'm still sticking to my plan.

I would like to see a little more of a recovery before I make any changes to it.

STEEM is looking great at $4.35 and SBD at $5.36.

Last night the Steem inc. came out with a cool update about scaling here.

These changes have been in the works for many months, and represent a major step forward for Steem. AppBase provides a robust foundation for meeting all of our future scaling needs, and will allow us to grow the platform while at the same time managing the resource requirements for third-party application developers, witnesses, and exchanges to grow along with it.

I know for most users on the steem blockchain this might not be the most spectacular news because all the changes will be under the hood but in the future when millions use this blockchain it needs to run as smooth as it does today.

Now, as you know, this blockchain can already scale pretty well compared to most other blockchains here.

But with these changes the foundation will be even more solid for everyone to build on.
