My good friends Ezzy and Rea are visiting Bianca and I this weekend.
It's always a pleasure to have them over.
Keukenhof is a huge spring garden in the Netherlands full of flowers close to Amsterdam.
As you might imagine Ezzy and I were less enthusiastic about the idea.
We tried the old...if you girls go...we stay home and play streetfighter tactic...
But it didn't work.
To the Keukenhof, we went.
It's pretty early in the spring so a lot of flowers are still in early stages of growing up.
Still, it was nice to be outside and the sun was shining!
It was a lovely 14 degrees.
But to be honest I was more interested in the food places around the park and as luck would have it they were selling some right old Dutch treats!
This is Dutch raw Herring. It's amazing.
It took some convincing for Rea and especially Ezzy to give it a go.
But they loved it.
After running around the park for two hours Ezzy and I were destroyed.
It was time to go home.
We decided to take the shortcut through a big building in the center of the park.
Upon entering we realized it was filled with full-on big flowers.
The most beautifull I ever seen by far.
We also knew we were screwed.
This would extend the visit by at least an hour!
We took this group shot and Ezzy and I settled on a nearby bench.
We accepted our faith.
And that was ok.
Rea and Bianca had the time of their life.
They loved it.
But tonight it's our turn.
We going out for some proper food and then go and watch Ready Player One!
I can't wait!
