I remember a time when London used to be full of "red" squirrels. These bushy little critters used to jump from tree to tree in parks, scavenging for scraps of food wherever they could find some. But over time, they seem to have mysteriously been replaced by none other than...
The "grey" squirrel, pictured above and snapped by myself this afternoon whilst out for a stroll. Lord knows how the transitioning took place, but it is what it is. The UK actually regards them as a national pest as well, due to their preferred habitat of burrowing into the foundations of people's houses. But hey, they do look cute and ain't done no harm to me.
Such as this little fuzzball right here... :)
