I remember that day well. 14th June last year whilst my wife and I were on holiday in Crete. The news station in the hotel room was BBC 24. Nothing other than further details concerning this horrific event played over and over again for the duration of the following days and every time, we both shook our head in disbelief.
We happen to live but a mile away from where this incident took place and regularly pass by a stretch of road revealing the devastation of that fateful day. I shudder to think of all those lives that perished in that blazing inferno. Worse still is if you read up on several documentations online suggesting that flammable materials were used in it's construction that are "now" considered a safety hazard. How could negligence like this take place, I ask you.
So, yes, in case you weren't aware of the tragic events that took place here in London on 14th June 2017, I urge you to check it out further. It was something that literally shock our nation to the core and will not definitely not be forgotten. Even after all this time, my heart goes out to the friends and family left behind, grieving over the untimely loss of their loved ones...
