So, the wife is leaving for another business trip abroad soon. And that can only mean one thing. Food Panic! You see, I have been spoilt. Without her exceptional cooking at hand, I'm like a lost puppy. Venturing out in the lonely streets of London, searching for food wherever I can find any. Usually, the local chippie or something a little more upmarket, like MacDonalds.
But there is hope on the horizon. Sweetheart that she is, my wife got me this incredibly handy cookbook. It's aptly titled "The No Time To Cook Cook" by Laura Herring. Written for, you know, for those of us who need to "start from the basics". Though I think she did it more for her own benefit than mine. After all, how is she expected to cope on that business trip whilst being worried sick about me all the time. Hence everyone's a winner.
I thought I'd peruse through it's pages this afternoon and I gotta say, I should be able to fix myself something up. Maybe even get a bit creative and whip up an Indian or Chinese cuisine even. But again, let's not push the boat out too far, so early on. Noe, I am well aware that this problem affects at least 1 in 4 men, there this is my personal recommendation to you, instead of scouring the trenches for some grub, knee deep in hunger and famine. the step-by-step instructions are really easy to follow and even the most neanderthalic amongst us, should be able to prepare something from the pages of this book.
So, yeah! Thanks, wife! You are indeed my blessing! Thank you for understanding! :)
