That moment you wake up and realize that everything is gone, you begin to cry and regret. I thought of when it all started in my final year in the university when two of my friends started stealing and doing drugs, I could have cut them off just like my best friend ADE did but I was too stubborn to listen to him. I felt I was matured enough to know what's good and bad, I thought I knew it all until it dawned on me that I had become a drug addict, a thief and a murderer, there was no going back it was already too late the police were looking for me and if I surrender, my gang will kill me. I didn't know what to do, my parents are dead my uncle was training me but after a while he abandoned me, I had to hustle on my own to survive, it was really tough for me so when my friends came up with the idea of robbery and drugs I decided to join. My initial plan was to go for few missions and then stop but little did I know, ade was one of us but immediately he heard about the robbery he backed out and also tried to warn me but I was too stubborn to even give it a thought.
After about two missions I could have stopped but greed took over, I wanted more, I decided I'd just go for two more missions and stop, at least that's what I thought but sadly it didn't work out like I planned. Even after two missions I didn't stop that's how greedy I was until I finally realized I was going too far, I tried to leave but it was too late the police were after us already and if I backed out then the guys would kill me so I just had to stick around.
Our last mission was compromised, we were attached by the police they killed my partners Sam and Josh I managed to escape after killing two police men. I became a fugitive running for my life, my picture was everywhere on TV with a huge ransom for anybody that knows my where about. It was like a terror, I couldn't go out, I was stuck in an uncompleted building with nowhere to go. I was starving and needed to get food, I left the uncompleted building for the first time to get food and unluckily for me I was sighted by a middle-aged man who called the police immediately, before I could realize what was happening the police got a hold of me and I was taken to jail and sentenced to death.
I woke up only to realize it was the day I was to be executed and all I can do now is cry and say to myself "HAD I KNOWN".
