Whether you’re a total beginner or are looking to brush up on your skills, these pros’ tips will improve your swimming
- Don't rely too much on your upper body.just try to keep an even balance,Use your arms for pulling your body through the water, your core to rotate in the water, and your legs for the kick
- When you need to breath , focus on keeping your head down, with the chin tucked into your neck then take a breath of air to the same side as the arm that is out of the water. (see the picture below)
- Simply slow down your stroke and do drills where you exaggerate the end of the stroke.
- Don't Breath out ALL the air (when your face is in the water)
- Don't Over-kicking (leg muscles are bigger and therefore use up more oxygen)
- Stop Lifting head up to breath (strains the neck)
