I Hope It Rains Forever
I hope it rains forever.
Not the trickles spraying like a tease to bikers and pedestrians.
Filled with doubt. they, to go or to stay, There's not much their face says,
besides they've got to be someplace else. don't we all? mere reflections
of our great derail, haven't we all failed? to retain colors. All that's left is gray.
I hope it rains forever.
No not the drizzles or romantic sprinkles like an afternoon for books.
Countless dads busy covering roof shingles, TVs chimes dreamy jingles dissolving
to the droning rain, joyous remains of smell of whatever mom cooked.
A playful time for precious games, nothing's same and the complex keeps evolving.
I hope it rains forever.
I hope it downpour like the summer, tired evenings for slumber,
thoughtful and disregardful nights in a bright rooms by the window
as the window pane stutter and I gather alone the day's plunder:
a moment of Silence, a moment of Peace, a moment of Purge.
This is my day 28 entry of the 100 days of poetry by from SteemitSchool.
I miss that they lasted forever, once. I just had a busy day.
