As I sat down to write this Article, after a long day of work. Cracking my fingers for effect, I was going to write a masterpiece about The Art of Deception, then suddenly poof! Went the electricity. Darkness descended all around me. It was yet another blackout.
So... Rather than talking about something too serious. Inhibited by the darkness around me, and solely dependent on my phone's backlight. I will pen a love letter to my country and express why I love it despite its numerous and almost uncountable flaws.
Where do I start? I must assume that most of you guys currently reading this have absolutely no idea what it is to experience 0-12 hours of electricity everyday. It really sucks; there is no way for me to put a positive spin on it.. Or can I? Well it's been that way all my life and at this point we don't really question it anymore
Moving on... Nigeria is a country you really should visit. And no, Not all of Nigeria is Boko Haram Territory. Most of the country is safe. Except in rare cases. All is peachy
Of course, to a keen observer Nigeria might seem lawless with violence such as. Armed Robbery, Kidnapping, Terrorism etc
But I personally have not been the victim of any violent crime... In fact my record would be intact for all crime for a little break-in and entry a couple of years back, gladly, we were not home.

There are many merits of being a Nigerian. We are by and large kind, hardworking, enterprise. Some might have some averse tendencies (scammers for example) who have ruined our prestige. I still like to think of us as the good guys.
I apologize for any incoherence. I have really struggled with words to express my feelings towards my country. I guess sometimes I dislike or hate Nigeria. But never have I ever not been proud to be Nigerian
