A Day On The South Puget Sound In Washington

There are many different islands in the Puget Sound and Vashon is only one of many. A fun day is to just ride the ferry system and enjoy the day on the water viewing each island as it comes. The weather is perfect, with most days in the low 70's. 

Could the day be more beautiful? The skys are blue with fluffy white clouds. The water is blue and crystal clear. We are away from the cities and everything is so clean and spotless. 

Much of this part of Washington lies in the Rain Forest. The island is filled with beautiful green Pines, Cedars, Firs, and many others. Every island is so green and untouched. Few people take the time to ride the ferry and really discover what is on each island. Their relative seclusion keeps them spectacular and beautiful. Each one has something special to offer. You can get off and then catch a latter ferry to proceed on your tour. If you have time, you can even spend the night on one of the islands and continue your adventure the next day. This is an area just waiting to be discovered.
