I'm preparing for the storm of the year. The forecast calls for 100 km an hour winds tonight so maybe it will take away my Honda CRV in the process. I hope to get some better pictures tonight of the storm, it should be a good one.

Severe thunderstorm watch in effect for:
City of Edmonton - St. Albert - Sherwood Park
Conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing damaging wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
Thunderstorms are likely to begin over western and northwestern sections of Alberta this afternoon before moving over more eastern sections late this afternoon and into the evening.
Very strong wind gusts can damage buildings, down trees and blow large vehicles off the road. Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!
Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
