I think people should be nice to everyone. I also don't believe in giving anyone special treatment for any reason other than because I want to. Just because someone is old doesn't mean they automatically deserve respect, gratitude, and servitude. Just be nice to everyone. Old people aren't special unless you want them to be and apparently you do. Not sure why though. Just because they're old doesn't mean they've done any good or contributed much if at all.
