We live in a big wooden house in a small town with a wonderful view of the ocean. The house has a strong solid foundation and even though we have to do some upkeep, the house is in a good condition and we live here happily without any issues.
The biggest problem we have is a shortage of water, but hopefully soon this will be sorted and the water issues will be a thing of the past.
The main reason why this specific house is still standing, is because of the foundation. The foundation is extremely strong and we have big retainer walls that protects the house from flooding. This is very necessary in our area as we have a high rainfall straight through the year and floods do occur.
Foundations in life are also very important. A house will not stay standing if it has a crumbling foundation. The same is true about your connection with God. If you don't have a strong believe system, your own house (your life) might just fall apart.
It is necessary to become still and connect with a higher power on a daily basis. Most of us grew up in church and have our own belief system, but somewhere life starts to get in the way and we prioritize the wrong things. Sometimes we totally go off track, but we always have that connection in the back of our minds because of a good foundation.
Whatever happens on this earth is not important. Sometimes we just have to sit with intention and listen with no need to hear at all. You may be amazed by what you find.
