Hello steemians it's me this morning with mixed feelings. But of course gratitude to God.
Everyday one wakes up with the hope of going out but to attend to matters as regards your work or other things really important to you and coming back safely to be with family, friends and loved ones.
Just yesterday, my gratitude was for a child hit by a car and she was going to be fine.
Safety is of the Lords, his angels watches over us when we go out to ensure we come in in safety.
It was an unfortunate end for some individuals yesterday at Ojuelegba under bridge as a truck emptied its goods on some people and a danfo bus with passengers.
How it was narated, there were two of such heavy duty trucks trying to overtake each other on the bridge when one pushed the other and the entire goods fell. The driver drove off without stopping.
This keeps happening year in year out. People keep loosing their lives to recklessness and insensitivity of the government to the plight of the populace.
This could have been anyone. Even a passerby was killed. Not to mention those in the vehicle who had no clue what would be fall them.
My heartfelt sympathy and condolence to those families affected.
I pray our footsteps are rightly ordered by God's spirit in our going out and coming in, in Jesus name. Amen!
I am grateful to God for safety everyday, even at home and in the office.
It's better to always show gratitude for every thing we have even the life we live. In it there is joy, peace and the hope to be better and receive more from God even when we don't deserve it.
