Sony announced new features in its new PlayStation 4 software system 5.0, which includes better family and parental management and is compatible with the 1080p Twitch 1080p transmission.
The features listed are part of the trial version of the software, used by a group of testers now before the release of the generic version, because they are mandated to approve or recommend changes before public consumption.
Here are some key features you can expect to get in a PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 4 Pro:
Family Accounts:
Changes in family accounts include improved handling of key accounts and sub accounts. A new Family on PSN system, which makes it easy to customize parental controls for each user and create accounts for children, can now restrict online access and age ratings for each person. Muhammad controls accounts and can encourage other adults in the family to act as parent or guardian.
Friends Lists:
You can now create and edit custom lists of friends, and arrange them into specific groups if you want.
New broadcast features:
You can now play live games, where the broadcast button has been added to everyone so that the viewer can click on it and join your broadcast if desired.
There is also a new PSVR virtualization experience that can activate viewer feedback during the virtual reality experiment.
The owners of the PlayStation 4 Pro can get a live video stream of 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second speed on the Twitch platform.
Share music:
You can now share Spotify or PlayStation Music tracks and songs individually via a message, and recipients will be able to listen directly to the message.
Tenders:
You can now disable the appearance of notifications on the screen while watching movies or TV shows to prevent and disable the viewing experience with notifications, and you can change the color between black and white.
You can now see the notifications tab in the Quick Menu even while playing games. This way you can see your download list for example, and you will also have the ability to leave the "Leave Party" groups from the same menu while playing.
PSVR virtual reality glasses:
You can now listen to the default surround sound when you use surround sound tracks PSVR 5.1 and 7.1 while playing through your headphones.
Courses and Competitions:
There are now new listings for viewing games and boring tournaments that makes it easy to see games, tournament results and penalties.
Languages:
New languages are being added for the first time, including Czech, Hungarian, Romanian, Greek, Thai, Indonesian, and Vietnamese now.
