Good morning ☕️
I had a healthy start to my day by preparing myself a healthy breakfast. For the past 3 weeks I really slacked when it came to healthy eating and exercising on the regular. I took a bit of a dip as I believe many of us often do.
I was all hyped on Jan the 1st, “YOU CAN DO THIS”, “I GOT THIS”, “GOALS ALL THE WAY”... I was super focused the first 2-3 weeks of my New Years resolution! I stuck to a low carb lifestyle, said no to people offering me unhealthy foods, only had one cheat MEAL a week, drank 3 liters of water a day and worked out 5 days a week. I was on a roll! But after that slowly but surely I took mini steps back into satisfying my gutsy tastebuds!😂
Life got busy, used that as an excuse to stuff my face with all the wrong food on the daily. Didn’t make time for exercise. And so slowly I got quite demotivated to get back on the 1st of January train 🚂 in which I was all hyped and ready to go!
But I promised myself 2018 would be different. Enough years have passed by in which I never achieved these simple fitness goals I have set for myself. I need to prove to myself that I can do it when I put my mind to it! I need to walk into 2019 with a hot summer bod 👙😂.
It’s the 13th of March today and I’m starting again. I’m getting back up where I left off and I’m kicking out all procrastination, excuses and gluttony👀.
I believe it’s all about picking yourself back up, dusting yourself off & getting back on that band wagon you found yourself on at the beginning of the year. Don’t let all the months that passes demotivate you. Every day is a new day to start again, every meal is an opportunity to start again, every month is a month to start afresh.
It’s not the 1st of March today nor is it a Monday. It’s currently a Tuesday the 13th of March. And I’m starting TODAY!

So today I kicked off my journey again with 2 boiled eggs on top of rice crackers with sweet chili spread & ham. I added a tiny bit of sweet chili sauce on top. About a hour after I ate, I went for my morning jog once again (that felt good!!). Just to get some cardio into the start of my day. Plus I’ve already finished 750 ml of water, aiming for 3 liters a day again!
