This weekend we are six girlfriends gathering in the mountains for skiing and fun. We all live in different parts of the country so it's a great occasion to meet up and hang out again. Three of us started the weekend a bit earlier and managed to squeeze in a few hours of skiing in Hafjell, a ski resort on our way to the final destination Kvitfjell.
Hafjell is one of the largest ski resorts in Norway and was part of the Olympic Games in Lillehammer in 1994. If you look in the background on the next picture you'll see a man running with a torch in the woods. They've kept the area clean from trees since then.
Now we're in Kvitfjell were my parents have a cabin. Very fortunate for me... We had to start digging in the snow before making it into the house.
At the moment we're just sitting in front of the fireplace waiting for the other three to arrive. Calm and cosy.
Very ready for a full day of skiing tomorrow!
