Ohhh, I could totally visualize this as you were describing it! I am so sorry ... that would definitely gross me out too. And I can only imagine the smell stayed with you (at least in thought) for quite awhile! I recently encountered mouse droppings in a bag of clothes I was given, but thankfully no rotting corpses! 😉
