Humanity's Conundrum
"Just be happy"! "Look at all this amazing technology"! "We can solve all of humanity's problems"! These are the words of finite human beings looking to solve life's most complex problems. Of course some of these problems are much easier to patch up. But what about issues of the heart like envy or malice? Can technology or wishful thinking actually save humanity from the seemingly unshakeable shackles that are attached to us? Quite a question to ponder.
I've spoken about this before on a different occasion. Humanity needs help! To say we don't is like saying you don't need air to breathe. It's pretty foolish I would say. Many of us are looking to liberate ourselves from the plagues of the curse. The biggest problem we face is that most of us are picking up virtual weapons that have no business trying to fight what we are up against.
We've tried new forms of government. Didn't work. We've tried more laws. Doesn't work. We've tried new philosophies. So much more confusion. The point is that we have tried many different methods and ideas for solving humanity's issues. The thing is that we are dealing with issues of the human heart that go so deep they transcend the tangible world. These kinds of issues need something more powerful than the latest ad for Icy Hot.
Let's say that there were 7 billion people living in harmony with one another on Earth and evil still existed. You can rest assured that at least 1 person would choose evil over living in harmony with their fellow man. At some point someone would screw it up. Including me.
The opportunity to do evil IS simply the delaying of the manifestation of it.
In order for all of humanity to ultimately be liberated once and for all, evil needs to be eradicated from our thoughts and from our world. Period. There is no other solution that exists outside of this. We will keep trying to come up with band-aid like solutions for the problems that plague us but they all will fall very short of doing that. We need major help. What is the solution? You tell me. Shalom
