Went back to work today. Oh how I missed it!!! It relieved the boredom of being at home though and had a giggle. With a chat about crypto and qanon.
While I was greeted to an email off a colleague who reported on my testicle in pathology.
I asked for a photo of the testicle when it was sliced open for the investigation just cause I’m nosey and intrigued. Ive always been interested in pathology and as it’s been my friend for the last 36 years thought I needed one to remind my of the fun times we’ve had.
So here it is.
It looks strange seen a few in pathology but my own is a bit weird. So what should it look like.
The tissue highlighted testis should be all the way though but the cream white tissue is the tumour.
The tissue around the testis is the epididymis and the spermatic cord.
I’m not sure which tumour type it is yet or if there are two tumours will find that out tomorrow and whether it’s stayed within the testicle. It’s going to be good news!!!!
